Course Description
Ever wanted to re-create the legendary rain falling symbols from the matrix movie ? With this short course I’m going to handheld you and walk you through the rabbit hole of the JavaScript world.
We are going to manipulate the HTML canvas, we are going to use OOP design patterns and we are going to make it shine. The end result will have a configuration file that will make it easy to change the behavior of your own matrix falling symbols, it’s going to be fun, IÂ promise.
The Matrix is an American media franchise created by writers-directors the Wachowskis and producer Joel Silver. The series consists of four feature films, beginning with The Matrix (1999) and continuing with three sequels, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions (both in 2003) and The Matrix Resurrections (2021).
The series depicts a future in which Earth is dominated by a race of self-aware machines that was spawned from the creation of artificial intelligence early in the 21st century. At one point conflict arose between mankind and machines, and the machines rebelled against their creators. JavaScript is a high-level, often just-in-time compiled language that conforms to the ECMAScript standard. It has dynamic typing, prototype-based object-orientation, and first-class functions. It is multi-paradigm, supporting event-driven, functional, and imperative programming styles. It has application programming interfaces (APIs) for working with text, dates, regular expressions, standard data structures, and the Document Object Model (DOM).
