1-Industrial Automation from Zero: AI-Guided PLC Programming, Session 1 : Master PLC hardware, ladder logic, FBD, ST, and AI-assisted code review using Siemens TIA Portal.

Course Description

You graduated from engineering. You understand circuits, you can read a P&ID, and you know what a PLC does in theory. But the moment you open TIA Portal for the first time, everything stops.

This course closes that gap.

Industrial Automation from Zero is a practical, Arabic-language PLC programming course built for electrical and control engineers who are starting from scratch. This is Session 1 of a multi-session series that takes you from zero hands-on experience to writing, simulating, and AI-reviewing real industrial control logic.

In this session you will build a complete foundation across two structured upload blocks:

Part 1 — PLC Hardware and Programming Fundamentals
You will learn how industrial controllers are physically constructed, how Siemens classifies its hardware family from LOGO! to S7-1500, how field devices connect to PLC terminals, and how the 24VDC standard works. You will also master the five IEC 61131-3 programming languages, understand when to use LAD, FBD, and Structured Text, and solve the most common beginner wiring mistake — the NO/NC inversion trap — before it causes problems in your real projects.

Part 2 — From Understanding to Programming
You will learn how professional engineers read a control narrative and extract logic using the CASE framework (Conditions, Actions, Sequences, Edge Cases). You will master ISA-95 informed variable naming conventions, write Boolean equations on paper before touching any software, and understand state-based thinking as the mental model that unifies PLC, HMI, and SCADA development.

What makes this course different is the AI-guided learning system. Every session ship with an AI Tutor Document that guides you through take-home tasks using the Socratic method — asking you questions instead of giving you answers — and a structured grading prompt that evaluates your TIA Portal work against professional naming conventions and logic correctness criteria.

This is not a passive video course. You will build real code, simulate it in PLCSIM, and receive structured AI feedback on your work.
