Jolyn Hong

Jolyn is currently the head of Diploma in Social Work programme in MCKL. She graduated with a Masters in Professional Counselling from University Malaya and a Bachelor in Social Science (Hons) Psychology. She is a licenced counsellor registered with Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (KB06827; PA0337)

Armed with 10 years of working experience from the humanitarian, nonprofit and education sector such as The United Nations High Comissioner for Refugee (working with the refugee and asylum seeker population in Malaysia); a trained volunteer with PT foundation conducting HIV screening and counselling, and working with children with learning disabilities. In her previous role as head of MPU unit in MCKL, she also helped in building the Service Learning module where she is involved with multiple projects (with various NGO’s) working for various marginalized community around Klang Valley.
