Adobe Illustrator for Mathematics and geometry classroom, Vector tools for Mathematics Teachers, we’ll cover: Planning and Designing professional visual interactive Vectors.
Course Description
This course is intended for Mathematics/Geometry teachers. It helps them create worksheets, presentations incorporating visual components into their lessons in order to engage students, make abstract ideas tangible, and accommodate different learning styles. The course is customized to cover only the drawing tools necessary for engineering, Mathematics and Geometry drawings. So, the tools that emphasis freehand are not suitable for precise mathematical, or engineering designs are avoided like the Brush Tool, Blob Brush Tool, Pencil Tool, Gradient Tool, Width Tool, artistic and calligraphic Brushes. So, the e-learning curriculum is customized to focus on what the Math teachers need to know and be able to do rather than merely provide a general Adobe Illustrator course or program. By examining the overlap between basic mathematical concepts and vector Illustration tools, the instructor selected the suitable tools and mapped them to vector tools, making sure that every tool added had a legitimate educational function in mathematics or geometry. The e-learning course aims to provide Mathematics teachers with an overview about vector drawing tools, techniques and formats, to empower them to integrate Vector drawing tools effectively in curricular by different ways:
1- Introducing vector drawing tools to mathematics teachers enabling them to create interactive shapes, patterns, and symmetry, and integrate vector drawings into instructional practices.
2- Educate math teachers about new features of Generative AI for vectors and address the issue of unavailability of measurements, annotations and dimensioning in pixel format.
3- Enhance digital literacy for Math teachers to integrate digital tools in the classroom promoting creativity and enhancing student engagement.
4- Equip Mathematics teachers with the vector tool to implement STEM education and student-centered design projects activities in math classroom.
