Reduce Anxiety While in Isolation, How to soothe your Anxiety when self isolating.
Over the last 2 weeks we have seen major changes to the way we live and, as more people are having to self isolate, we are seeing a marked increase in Anxiety and Depression.
As someone who was diagnosed with Agoraphobia aged 12 and spent over 10 years in my teens and early 20’s self isolating because of this, I feel I am well placed to understand the far reaching impact that self isolation can have on us if we don’t approach it right. In the course I share some of my story, of how I conquered Agoraphobia and OCD before emigrating to the other side of the world where I’ve spent the last 13 years working in the Community Services sector. The last 5 years I have been a Mental Health awareness instructor, covering over 100 x 2 day courses and 1500 participants.
In this course you will learn what is happening when we feel anxious and how we can curb those anxious moments, the different strategies you can use on a daily basis to empower yourself and reduce the risk of becoming unwell.
There’s lots of activities we’ve designed to help you through this period we’re in and there’s also a Facebook group we encourage you to join. We will be posting daily in the group, encouraging you to engage in conversations and providing a safe space for everyone to vent, reflect and be empowered.
