Hello and welcome to my Udemy Course on Occupation-Based Activities for the Aging Population!
Participants in this course will learn about occupation-based activities, their importance in the long-term care setting, and how occupational therapy is best suited to implement occupation-based activities. This Udemy course contains lectures, pictures, examples, research articles, and resources to support the importance of occupation-based activities in long-term care settings. The research was conducted through a needs assessment and a critically appraised topic. Also included in this Udemy course are various downloadable materials to further support learning within this area. The downloadable materials include the needs assessment, critically appraised topic, questionnaire, three activity handouts, and materials presented in the educational sessions. At the end of this course, there is a question and answer section to test your knowledge of the information presented. The questions are both multiple-choice and true/false. It may take about 45 minutes to get through this course, as well as the attached recourses. The development of this course is based on research, evidence-based practices, and clinical experience with the geriatric population. There are several resources at the end of the presentation to support my findings.
